For a long time, true integration in Japanese society was nearly impossible. Fortunately, thanks to the efforts of GAMOJ and similar groups, that is all changing rapidly. We now live in an era where Muslims are treated with the same respect and hospitality as their native born Japanese neighbors.

However, barriers still exist. It can still be difficult to find gainful employment, achieve equal education, and acquire proper medical care. Fortunately, GAMOJ has been steadily making in-roads in all of these areas for decades.
