Education is at the heart of GAMOJ’s practice. Through education, we believe that cultural barriers can be erased, leading to a better sense of peace and understanding between ourselves and our Japanese born neighbors.

By bringing together people of diverse backgrounds, we aim to create a place where open dialogue is encouraged.

Islam has a rich and fascinating history in Africa. Even for lifelong followers, there is always some new piece of our heritage to learn about. By bringing together people of diverse backgrounds, we aim to create a place where open dialogue is encouraged. This way, our shared experiences and our unique backgrounds can come together to strengthen our community as a whole.
Many new residents are overwhelmed by the many cultural differences between Africa and Japan. We will help you to fully understand the local laws and customs, so that you can feel at home in your new country.
Many new parents come to us seeking an education for children they have given birth to in Japan. And while we of course embrace many of Japan’s traditional teachings, we believe it is equally important to teach them about the customs and traditions of their homelands. Children who attend our classes will grow up immersed in the wisdom of Allah. They will eventually become leaders of the Muslim community in Japan, helping to ensure a prospering Muslim population for generations to come.
